This Privacy Policy explains what information Eagle ("we", "us") collects when you use eaglebusinesssearch.com and related services, how we use it, and the choices you have. Eagle does not sell your personal information.

Account information

When you create an account we store your email address, a hashed password managed by our authentication provider, and basic profile metadata.

Search history

We keep a limited history of searches you run (ZIP code, category, timestamp) so we can display recent results, enforce usage limits, and improve the product.

Saved businesses

Businesses you star are stored in your account so you can access them later. You can remove them at any time.

Payment information

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Eagle never receives or stores your full card number. We store only the customer/subscription identifiers Stripe returns to us.

Google Maps Platform & Google Places API

Search results are powered by the Google Maps Platform and the Google Places API. Your ZIP code and category selection are transmitted to Google to return matching businesses. Your use of Google-provided results is also governed by Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Cookies and local storage

We use cookies and browser local storage for authentication sessions, security (trusted device tokens), and preferences. See our Cookie Policy for details.

Email verification and security

To protect your account we send email verification codes for sign-in from new or untrusted devices, and we log device fingerprints (browser, OS) for trusted-device management.

Analytics

We collect aggregated, non-identifying usage analytics (page views, feature usage, error reports) to improve reliability.

How we use information

Data retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active. Search history and verification logs are retained for a limited period for security and product operations. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
